Never. Guests scan the QR code (or type the join code at dropola.com) and they're in — straight from the phone's camera, no app and no account required.

Can I approve photos before they appear?

Accepted Answer

Yes, on the Premium plan. Switch moderation to “Review first” in your event settings and every upload waits for your thumbs-up before it's visible. On any plan, you can hide or remove items from the gallery at any time.

Do I get the original, full-quality files?

Accepted Answer

Always. Dropola keeps originals — no compression. Download a single favourite in full quality, or export the entire event as a zip on the Pro and Premium plans.

How long do the photos stay up?

Accepted Answer

It depends on your plan. Free galleries stay available for 1 month. Dropola Pro keeps your gallery live for 6 months, and Dropola Premium for a full year — plenty of time to revisit, share, and download everything in full quality.

Question 5

My event already happened — can I still use Dropola?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Create the event now, share the code or link with everyone who was there, and they can upload the photos and videos they took straight into one shared gallery. The date is just a label — there's no deadline to start collecting memories after the fact.

How many guests and photos can join?

Accepted Answer

As many as your event needs. From an intimate dinner to a 1,000-person festival, everyone scans the same code and shares freely.

Yes — create an event, share the code, and collect memories on the free plan. Upgrade only if you want more events, unlimited uploads, a one-click ZIP download of the whole gallery, or extra features like password protection and moderation.

Can I organise photos into albums?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and it's free on every plan. Open your event, tap the Albums menu above the gallery, and create albums like Ceremony, Reception, or Speeches. Guests can then choose an album as they upload, and you can filter the gallery by album or select photos and Move to album at any time. Albums are optional — skip them and everything simply lands in one gallery.

Can I plan my event with a checklist?

Yes, and it's free on every plan. Open Checklist from your host sidebar to create private planning boards — track tasks as a Kanban board or a simple checklist, set due dates and priorities, and start from a ready-made Wedding, Birthday, or Corporate template. Your boards stay private to you, separate from your events and galleries.

Can guests leave a voice message?

Yes, on Pro and Premium events. Guests tap the mic on the upload page, record a short note up to a minute, and send it — no app or account needed. Voice messages are private to you: open Voice messages in your gallery to play them back or download them, and they're included when you download the whole gallery as a ZIP.

Can I plan my budget too?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and it's free on every plan. Open Budget Planner from your host sidebar, create a budget for a wedding, party, trip or anything else, pick its currency and set an overall limit. Log every expense with an estimated cost, the actual price once you know it, and what you've paid so far — plus a category, vendor, owner, due date, a link to the quote or booking, and notes. The Analysis tab shows spend by category against each category's cap, payment progress, who's covering what and the next payments due, and you can export everything as a CSV. Budgets are private to you and separate from your events.
