SVG stays sharp at any size. PNG keeps a transparent background; JPG fills it white.
How it works
Make a QR code in three steps
Step 1
Paste your link
Any web address works: your website, a menu, a booking page, or your Dropola event gallery. The code updates as you type.
Step 2
Make it yours
Pick a color and background, round the dots or the corner eyes, and drop your logo in the middle. We raise the error correction automatically when you add a logo, so it still scans.
Step 3
Download and test
Save it as SVG for print, PNG for screens or JPG for apps that don't like transparency. Scan it with two different phones before you print a hundred copies.

FAQ
QR code questions
Is this QR code generator really free?
Yes. There's no account, no watermark and no limit on how many codes you make. Download as many PNG, SVG or JPG files as you need.
Do the QR codes expire?
No. The link is written straight into the code (a static QR code), so it keeps working for as long as the link itself does. Your code is built in your browser and never passes through our servers.
Can I add my logo to the QR code?
Yes. Upload a PNG, JPG or SVG and set its size between 15% and 30%. Square logos work best. Keep it on the smaller side and test the code with a phone before you print.
Which file format should I download?
SVG for anything printed, because it stays sharp at any size. PNG for websites and slides, and it keeps a transparent background. JPG fills the background white, which some apps and print shops prefer.
How big should I print a QR code?
At least 2 × 2 cm (about 0.8 inch) for something held in the hand, like a table card. For signs, a good rule is one tenth of the scanning distance: around 10 cm for a sign people scan from a metre away.
Can guests use a QR code to share their photos with me?
Yes, that's what Dropola is for. Create a free event and you get a QR code that opens your shared gallery. Guests scan it and upload photos and videos straight from their phone, no app needed. Paste that event link here to style the code.
