Dropola photo booth
A photo booth that runs on a tablet and fills your gallery.
Prop up an iPad or a laptop at the venue and open your event's booth page. Guests tap one button, pose for a 3-2-1 countdown, and the shot goes straight into the same live gallery as everyone's phone photos. It's included on Pro and Premium.
How it works
Set up in a couple of minutes.
Step 1
Open the booth on your device
On the tablet you'll leave at the venue, open your event's booth page from the event card. Tap Start, allow the camera, and the page goes full screen and keeps the display awake.
Step 2
Guests tap, pose, keep
A countdown and a flash, then a quick preview. Keep it sends the photo to the gallery, Retake throws it away. If nobody decides within 30 seconds, it's kept automatically.
Step 3
Photos land in your gallery
Booth shots show up next to guests' own uploads, credited as Photo Booth. If you review uploads before publishing on Premium, they wait for your approval first.
Why hosts choose Dropola
The fun of a booth without the rental.
Rented photo booths are great and expensive, and the prints often end up in a drawer. Most of the fun is the moment in front of the camera, and the photo you can find again later.
Dropola's booth is a full-screen camera page that runs in the browser on a tablet or laptop you already own. There's no app to install and no account for guests. They walk up, tap Take photo, and the picture is uploaded to your event straight away.
Because booth photos go into the same gallery as everything else, they're part of the live slideshow, the downloads and the collage editor. Pick a background that suits your event, and switch the booth off whenever you like from your event settings.
What you get
Made for the moment, kept for good.
Any tablet or laptop
An iPad on a stand works brilliantly, and so does a laptop with a webcam. If the device has two cameras, guests can switch.
No queue for the photos
Every shot is in the gallery seconds later, so guests can find and download theirs from their own phone.
Made for a busy party
Auto-keep after 30 seconds means the booth never gets stuck, and it never asks guests for a password.
Common questions
Photo booth questions
Which plans include the photo booth?
Pro and Premium. It's on by default for every event on a paid plan, and you can turn it off in your event settings.
Do I need an app or special equipment?
No. Any recent tablet or laptop with a camera and a modern browser works. A stand and a ring light help, but they're optional.
How do I stop guests leaving the booth on an iPad?
Turn on Guided Access (triple-click the side button) before you start. Guests then stay inside the booth and can't wander into other apps.
